This LP is semi blind, I have only played this for about a week before, which is hardly anything in this game.

At least docking is free for 24 hours at a time so i don't have to drift in space when sleeping. Beautiful thing.Īnyway, Docking now for the night. Still, i wanted to see my ship from the outside once more. Uncomfortable thing, its a modified argon model that came free with the ship. 2000C would be a months rent down on the homeworld, but up s not much at all.
So i got my own ship! I managed to find a Octopus class M5 scout ship on the shipyard that i could 'just' afford. They where right in one thing, its impossible to get hired as a pilot unless a connection to the Royal Family of some sort. They might think i will come back in a year or so when i run out of money, but i wont.īecause i am already out of money. Still, they payed for my education anyway. They said i would never make it "You need to have a connection to the royal court to make it in space." they said "Its better if you stay here and become a plankton farmer" they said. My parents are plankton farmers on the homeworld. I graduated from the pilot academy just yesterday! I own my own ship! Just a few hours ago i left the homeworld and took a shuttle to the shipyard in orbit. I still got problems believing i can say that. Only Boron ships as personal ships because of a need of a aquatic capable life support system.(Or ships stolen, borrowed, found or salvaged that had a boron owner, as in ship recovery missions and capping). Pretty good readability on grayscale printouts.Īs before, the big plus of this map is that it can be printed on a single sheet of A4 paper and still be able to make out all the information you need. Differentiation between border and core sectors for all races. Different icons for Shipyards, Equipment docks, Pirate bases, Special facilities. Other feature, carried over from the X3:R map include:

For those who don't have access to a color printer, there is a full list of sector connections in the legend page. Family Whi: east side, Shareholder's Fortune: west side). The side of the sector that hosts the gate that connects them, is a dotted line (i.e. For example, the already known (from X3R) connection between Family Whi and Shareholder's Fortune instead of being represented by a line, now is represented by red border color for both those sectors. Company Headquarters have their own icon as well, and on the legend page you can also see the names of those corporations and the sectors their HQ is in.Īlso, due to the fact that Terran sectors tend to overpopulate the map, and in order to minimize the clutter caused by sector connections, I chose to represent some sector connections by altering the border color for those specific sectors. Super shipyards have their own icon too. On the legend page, you can find detailed information about the sector coordinates each ship is, the type of the ship, and also it's position within the sector. Derelict ships have their own icon for easy spotting on the map.
The style and feel is derived from my older map for X3:Reunion, but this time there are a couple of improvements:
